“One Stop Shop” highlights the benefits of integrating family planning and HIV/AIDS services from the point of view of clients and healthcare providers in western Kenya. It touches on the common challenges faced by the staff at public health facilities while implementing integration of services.  It also highlights the subsequent successes brought about by the dedication of the facilities’ staff to make the changes necessary to undertake integration. The video details the importance of strategies such as ongoing health talks to all clients and the optimal use of limited space within the facilities.  Clients talk about their personal experiences and the shared responsibility of a husband and wife in meeting their family planning needs, especially couples living with HIV.

The Integration Partnership (TIP)

“In One Place” shows why integrating family planning/reproductive health (FP/RH) and HIV/AIDS is a priority for women and young people in sub-Saharan Africa. Through the voices of women in Zambia living with HIV, the film documents how stand-alone, separate health services can result in a range of missed opportunities, poor health outcomes and lost productivity. Integration means offering FP/RH and HIV services together at the same time and in the same facility. It is a client-centered, rights-based approach that improves lives for women and youth living with and at risk of HIV.
